Pray For Us

We Need Your Prayers To Fulfill Our Calling

Why We Covet Your Prayers

Pray for Us

Blessed Children’s Home does not run on strategy, plans, or money alone.

We live day to day on the mercy of God - and we feel it.

That is why we ask, without apology: please pray for us.

We serve children who have known rejection and loss, in a nation where the Gospel is watched closely and laws are tightening. The work is spiritual at its core. If God does not help us, we cannot stand.

This page explains why we ask for prayer, how we see it in Scripture, and how you can actively join us, including through our WhatsApp prayer channel.

Why Prayer Matters To This Ministry

We believe prayer is not a “nice extra.” It is the frontline work.

  • We are weak, God is strong.

We are a small home with limited resources, facing legal pressure, spiritual opposition, and very real human needs. Only God can protect the children, soften hearts, and open doors that are humanly closed.

  • The battle is spiritual, not just practical.

We deal with trauma, fear, and despair in children’s hearts. We face misunderstanding and suspicion from authorities and neighbors. No program can fix these things. We need God to move.

  • The children belong to God first.

He created them. He sees their past and their future. When you pray, you are asking their true Father in heaven to do what we can never do for them.

  • Prayer unites the global body of Christ.

You may be in another country and never visit Nepal. Yet when you pray, you are standing shoulder to shoulder with us in the same work, which is to serve these children and give them a good childhood so they have a chance in life.

Biblical Foundations for Prayer

We ask for prayer because Scripture commands and models it.

1. Pray for Workers and the Harvest

“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Matthew 9:38

We serve in a nation where many have never heard of Christ. When you pray, you are obeying Jesus’ command to ask the Father to strengthen us and send laborers.

2. Pray for Open Doors and Boldness

“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message… Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”

Colossians 4:3-4

We need open doors with local officials, neighbors, schools, and extended families. We also need courage and wisdom to live out the Gospel wisely under restrictive laws. Your prayers matter here.

3. Pray for Protection from Evil

“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

2 Thessalonians 3:3

There have been seasons of false accusation, media harassment, and real threats. God has preserved this work through many dangers. We ask you to continue praying for protection - physical, legal, and spiritual.

4. Pray in Line with Pure Religion

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…”

James 1:27

When you pray for Blessed Children’s Home, you are praying into something God Himself calls “pure and faultless.” You are asking Him to bless and strengthen a work that is close to His heart.

How We Pray in Nepal

  • Daily Prayer

Staff begin and end their day with simple, honest prayer: thanking God, asking for help, and committing their prayers to Him.

  • Corporate Prayer

The church meets regularly to pray specifically for the children’s home, the Bible school, the local church, and partners around the world.

When you join us in prayer, you are stepping into a stream that is already flowing here every day.

A Final Word

You may never sponsor a child or visit Nepal. You may not have much money to give.

But if you will pray - regularly, specifically, and in faith - you are doing something that matters more than you can see.

  • You are asking God to defend the fatherless.
  • You are standing with a small, fragile work in a hard place.
  • You are helping carry children, staff, and leaders in a battle they cannot fight alone.

Will you stand with us in prayer?
